Amanda has been a massage therapist for 10 years. She studied at the East West Healing Institute in Milwaukee, WI and at Healing Hands in San Diego, CA where she earned her holistic healing practitioner certification. Amanda understands that massage therapy is a collaboration between client and therapist. For this reason, she is dedicated to her own healing and wellness to ensure that she shows up as her best for each of her clients. Amanda is an advanced student of Ashtanga Yoga which she practices 6 days a week.

Amanda has a unique style of massage, bringing together many Eastern and Western modalities. She describes it as being a slow, intuitive, very deep tissue massage mixed with lomi lomi techniques, using elbows for most of the session except when working the small muscles. Amanda holds space for clients to feel deeply into themselves so they can release tension they are holding onto, physically, as well as mentally/emotionally.

Takhinsha received her Master’s degree from Pacific College of Health and Science, Chicago. Before becoming an acupuncturist Takhinsha fought professionally representing Mexico in taekwondo, winning many international competitions, including the Pan-American Games in 2003.

When she retired from competing and transitioned to a “normal” life she was met with constant headaches, physical pain, and anxiety. This opened her eyes to the need for a holistic approach to facilitate this transition. Some of the therapies that helped her were massage therapy, acupuncture, and meditation. Her journey led her to receive a Holistic Health Associate degree and Massage Therapy certification from the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego, California. Upon completion, Takhinsha traveled for 2 years throughout Asia, where she studied different bodywork modalities and traditional medicines, giving her extensive knowledge which she uses in her treatments.

Takhinsha specializes in Women’s Health, Chronic Pain and Digestive Issues.

Dane is a Licensed Acupuncturist who received his Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science, Chicago.

Before becoming an acupuncturist Dane spent 5 years in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division serving two combat tours. When he came back to the states with injuries, he found a medical system that hardly looked at him. So he used his GI bill to get an education to be able to heal himself using modalities not typically included in the VA at that time.

First he received a Massage Therapy certification from the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego, California. Here he specialized in Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral therapy, and NMT. After receiving his degree he traveled through Asia searching out the most remote and intact cultures still practicing their traditional medicine. After two years he came home having studied 32 different bodywork and traditional medicine philosophies, through 11 countries.

Today he blends all this knowledge into his practice where he specializes in orthopedic, and mental/emotional disorders. He treats any population; he especially holds a special relationship with those that served.
